Consumers avoid business websites with ‘bad tech’

Around 59% of UK consumers leave a business website within 30 seconds if it is difficult to navigate or visually unappealing, according to a survey of 2,000 consumers commissioned by Studio Graphene. The survey has revealed that 52% of consumers always research a business online before making a purchase, while 47% believe a good business website or app is important for building consumer trust. In addition, 24% of consumers have switched brands because a competitor had a superior website or technology and provided a better customer experience.
