Proposals for future food regulation published

The Food Standards Agency has published proposals outlining changes to the way food businesses in England, Wales and Northern Ireland are regulated after the UK leaves the EU. The proposals include an enhanced system of food business registration, a new approach to inspections where firms with a good compliance record will benefit from fewer inspections, and making the Food Hygiene Rating System in England mandatory.
